Yeah me too. Though Jon looks ok (not like it's real tough to cast just an average happy go lucky doofus).

I'll be rash and pass judgement now: I have no interest in seeing this anymore. I don't like the looks of those sunglasses. Sunglasses always means the character is 'cool'. I'm reminded of the "Pootchie" episode of The Simpsons.

It never crossed my mind, but the fantasy casting at the bottom of the page sounds right on.

Wuh? Somebody is making a live-action Garfield movie?

Why?

Yeah, garfield looks like he's ready to get busy in a proactive manner. It's a whole new paradigm.

Ehh, I don't know about this. I'd much rather see a Heathcliff movie made.

jennifer love hewett was enough for me to damn this movie to the lowest depths of hell...

that illustration of the "CGarfield" is just the icing on the cake..

the studio would be better off making Gigli II...

This will, unfortunately, probably do very well and spawn sequels. As much as everybody "hated" Scooby Doo, that did well.

Wow, wasn't Garfield's heyday like 15-20 years ago? That's like making a "Bloom County" live action movie at this point.

I can pretty much pass on this "Kangaroo Jack" style Garfield sight unseen (even if Bill Murray's doing the voice), and if that makes a me a snob, a snob I will gladly be.

Granted, it's hard to adequately judge the look because you can't see Garfield's trademark eyes, but that picture somehow manages to look nothing like an actual cat and nothing like the Garfield cartoon at the same time.

I'm starting to get the impression that you don't like The Matrix or something.

Boo I hate it! It will suck. It has JLH!!!! It will suck. Why cant it be in black and white. Trigger was right. You guys do hate everything. We see an early pic of a character and you guys already want to shoot the movie in the face.

A "Bloom County" movie might actually be funny.

Maybe the movie will be fantastic. But based on past experiences, I put a lot of stock in the first impressions I get from these pics, trailers, write ups on movies. Maybe Garfield will be enourmously entertaining. Perhaps you will enjoy it. But I trust my movie prejudice, and it tells me this will not be my cup of tea.

I'll probably see it unless the trailers prove it to be heavily geared towards pre-teens.

I'll wait for a trailer before I pass more judgment. I really think any decisions made now are a bit premature.
