I saw it. Good movie but nothing to blow my load over.

It was pretty good, I thought, but not great. Probably a B (appropriate, since it is kind of a B movie type movie). Not even close to my favorite Stephen Frears movie, but worth seeing.

I liked it. Audrey's acting style, (socially awkward, naiive, gullable) gets old really fast with me, but once she begins to change, she really does some nice work. It wasn't quite as dark as I was expecting after hearing some reviews from friends that were rather disturbed. The ticket guy even said, "Woah, that's a wacked out film" as he tore my ticket. I was engaged enough that the ending was a surprise. It's always nice when a film grips you enough that you're not sitting there trying to figure out what's going to happen, you can just let it happen.
