Rogue588 07-30-03 01:02 PM

wow. good job.

they must be getting hammered now...site's running s l o w...

Jepthah 07-30-03 01:23 PM

Undoubtedly ripped from Disc 2 of the 8/26 TTT DVD.

Unfinished sound, CGI and color correction.

That being said...wow. I can't wait for December 17. This is going to be beyond great.
Spoiler:
Precious...will be OURS. :D

caiman 07-30-03 01:24 PM

From the One Ring site: "UPDATE: New Line Cinema has kindly asked us to remove the links and files with the ROTK trailer, sorry folks!"

Jackskeleton 07-30-03 01:26 PM

someone mirror it.. please please please. :(

Jepthah 07-30-03 01:26 PM

As if that will stop it. If you can't wait a few weeks, it's worth your time to search for it. If you can wait, you'll have it in better quality with your DVD set and of course what I expect to be a much more impressive and polished-looking preview in September. Happy days. :)

Edit: Jack, they're way ahead of you. Check out certain other Tolkien fansites communications, dig a little deeper. ;)

Jackskeleton 07-30-03 01:30 PM

Nevermind, found a couple of mirrors already. :p the power of the internet. faster then any "please remove link from your site" letter. ;)

caiman 07-30-03 01:38 PM

got any links Jack?

Jackskeleton 07-30-03 01:44 PM

Taken down for obvious use of other folks bandwidth. did anyone try to mirror them? they were up for a while. :p

caiman 07-30-03 01:46 PM

Thanks a lot!

theneobez 07-30-03 01:50 PM

This looks absolutely incredible, thank you for the link.

Corvin 07-30-03 02:03 PM

Yup, I give my thanks as well. Definitely looking forward to the series a bit more.

Jackskeleton 07-30-03 02:15 PM

a 22mb one is floating around somewhere. the search continues.

Rogue588 07-30-03 02:29 PM

I just finished d/l that one...took a 'lil while..

Jackskeleton 07-30-03 02:34 PM

not much of a change. slightly better quality. but for the amount of searching it took.. it wasn't worth it.

PixyJunket 07-30-03 02:34 PM

Whoa.

FuzzyBallz 07-30-03 03:00 PM

******* awesome. Can't 'til New Line releases the 24 hour ridiculously extended triple platinum box set.

DrMcKittrick 07-30-03 03:07 PM

It took 90 mins to download the RAR but it was worth it.

Looks nice (was mine the only one where the sound and picture don't quite match up?).

Mine did this as well.

Fscking awesome. Can't 'til New Line releases the 24 hour ridiculously extended triple platinum box set.
I think that they have said they won't be doing this. They'll release the 3 platinum mega monster editions separately but wont turn around and make you buy a three in one mega mega super big gulp sized one later.

Looks like they know when they are pushing it w/consumers...

PalmerJoss 07-30-03 04:04 PM

Amazing. I can't remember ever anticipating a movie as much as this. Can't wait to see this trailer on my tv in glorious 5.1
