I'll limp in with Identity.

BTW, I don't accept "I'll take whatever's left." You do need to actually pick a film to play.

Just a few hours left for the stragglers to get their pick in...remember any film that makes at least $10,000 this weekend can win!

I don't want to jinx this, but... weekend estimates have my choice, LXG, at 10,100,000 -- lots of ones and zeros there! If that holds true, I may be looking at at least a full house, if not four or five of a kind.

All the estimates include a lot of zeroes, which is why I have to wait for the actuals. Also, I like to keep everybody sweating as long as possible.

It's only the last 5 numbers that are used not any 5. So Finding Nemo is only a pair of 7's.

Groucho (“Identity”) Score Pending

Note to those who are marked “Score Pending”: Your numbers have not been posted yet. Once figures do show up for your film, I will post the results here.

The highest-grossing film this weekend that was not picked turned out to be Spellbound. That means there are 259,172 points to be awarded this round.

jhansla is our current leader. Once the rest of the numbers are posted I will name the final winner. I doubt that boat will be sunk, but you never know!

SPECIAL NOTE: Do not post your picks for next week until I create the next thread (Wednesday Afternoon). Any picks for Week 3 posted to this thread will be jeered.

Week Three’s Game will offer a new variation in play, and also a special “side bet” for chip holders. Look for it in a couple days!

Congrats, jhansla!

Numbers are up for everything except Identity, so I'm not sure what the deal is with that. It's probably safe to assume that jhansla is the winner this week.

Yes, the scores are cumulative, and worth valuable bragging rights.
