Movie Poster Frames. Which one?
I have recently purchased some standard sized original print movie posters. I would like to know if anyone has a certain inexpensive frame that will let me change them out easily and will not wrinkle them.
Let me know what you guys use and if possible where you bought them.
I did find this link that has 27 X 40 frames for $11.75 with a $50.00 minimum order.

Check your local mall for a Suncoast Videos store. I bought a 27x40 frame there for $20, and it looks pretty good. I need to go back and buy some more to replace the cheap frames I have other movie posters in, and for the movie posters I plan on buying.

Thanks. I saw those at Suncoast the other day and wondered if they were any good. They were priced at $19.95 each. I wonder if they ever run a sale on them. Oh well it still is not bad since I will only buy two or three and just change the posters out as my mood changes.

I have two of those Suncoast frames (we are talking about the black squared-off wooden frames, yes?). The only caveat I would offer is that you should purchase a picture hanging kit at Wally World or somewhere. The wire and screw-eye type, you know. These frames will sag if you try to hang them from the top.
Use the method on the left in the image below.

Living in Beaumont, you can drive in on I-10 into Houston and pick these up (see pic below) at Garden Ridge Pottery at the I-10/Federal Road store on the east side of Houston. These poster frames are pretty easy to deal with and they are $19.99 each. Of course, you may have a GRP in Beaumont, I'm not sure...

Great. I have been to that Garden Ridge many times. If they are the same price as Suncoast though I will probably go that route.
I can't remember if they were wooden or metal but if I can I will take the advice above and hang them from the sides and not the top.
Thanks for all the help. I feel much better now that I will not ruin my posters.

I don't think they make them for my 6 foot wide poster of Daryl Hannah, in her mermaid costume she wore in "Splash". Leading man Tom Hanks and second banana John Candy.
P.S. I got it free from a rental shop in Port Jervis, NY, the owner said "I would like to see it hang at a man that would appreciate it, a man like you". I still do appreciate so does my guests, for if any of you remember, her breast was just touching the sand.
