Caddyshack III
Don't know how I feel about this...
[Chicago Sun-Times by way of Zentertainment.com]
Brian Doyle-Murray, brother to Bill Murray, says that CADDYSHACK 3 is in the works. "OK, the second one sucked. This one is going to be good. It's Chevy [Chase], Rodney [Dangerfield], Louie Anderson, Michael O'Keefe and me. We're even trying to get Bill to do a short appearance as Spackler."

Okay Chevy Chase isn't funny anymore. Louie Anderson? Puh-lease.
Dangerfield is barely alive. Doyle -Murray has been riding brother Bill's coattails his entire career. This will be awful....unless of course it becomes a Bill Murray vehicle. Which it won't.

I just can't see this movie doing well. IMHO, the only thing worse than bringing back a small part of the original cast for a sub-par sequel (Caddyshack II) is bringing back many of the original cast, getting people excited about possibility of a good sequel, and then letting them down with a poorly written, poorly produced movie. Did I just write the world's longest run-on sentence?

Louie Anderson is just scary to look at these days. Chevy Chase just has no idea what funny is anymore. Brian Doyle Murray... I enjoyed him in Get a Life, that's about it. I actually think this MIGHT end up worse than Caddyshack 2, and that's frightening.
