Everybody's a druggy whether you believe it or not. And everybody sleep w/ hookers and gigolos. What separates Furlong, a C list actor from Arnold, an A list actor is Arnold brings Bank, and Furlong doesn't.

I'm not sure why you'd think that. While I don't doubt that many of the people do drugs, that doesn't mean they are druggies. Furlong was noted to be a drug user to the point it would affect his performance and ability to do his job. I'm sure there are other reasons for the switch, such as Mostow's claim that Stahl was just better for the role of an adult John Conner.

Take this from a guy who knows Edward Furlong. I knew him before he was in terminator and let me tell you one thing, His ego go so damn huge. He was an ass and he came crashing down and hit rock bottom. Why isn't he in T3? thank god he's not in T3.

That's really sad, I didn't know he had drug problems I liked him in both T3 and AHX. Jack was he into drugs when you knew him?

I believe (and pray) that that's past tense. One of dozens of reasons to hate him.

This is hardly a loss. He was a stiff from day one.

I found him quite annoying in T2. I know he was young, but man, I would have loved to see a scene where Arnold got fed up and blasted him away, ala True Lies when he cracks Bill Paxton (before it comes up, yeah I'm aware T2 was out before True Lies).

T2 was one of my favorite movies, but I found him annoying as well. It still didn't take too much away from the movie.

wow this is all news to me, personally I don't know what he could have brought to the table, I think he could be a good character actor, but not john conner as an adult, druggy or not I don't mind the change, assuming the new guy can act

Eddy Furlong is the new Crow! I guess his being a drug addict might help his performance as the Crow. Even if he was tripping out on every scene in the new Crow it probably wouldnt have been as bad as the last couple of sequels.

T2 is one of my favorite action movies, but I never cared for Furlong. He kind of reminds me of Jar Jar....really damn annoying.

There one thing though, while Arnold may have slept with hookers. He doesnt anymore. While Furlong is STILL a lame druggy. A druggy shouldnt be rewarded by given a part in a movie like T3. And thankfully he wasnt. Arnold may have done some bad things in the past, but who hasnt? He is married with kids now and is mature. While Furlong again...is STILL a lame druggy.

Damn - DVD talk sure teaches me a whole lot......

You know what, EDDIE FURLONG was GREAT IN T2! Druggie or not he still rules and man I'm SO ....ing mad that he's NOT in T3. Who are you to judge him? Druggie? A$$?
Nick Stahl is a good actor but I didnt like him as John Connor. NO! I DID NOT! One HUGE minus of T3 is "so so John Connor".
