LOTR.
I've been a life long star wars fan, but that's still a couple years off and I've liked FOTR and TTT much more than TPM and ATOC.
I like the matrix movies quite a bit as well, but no where near as much as LOTR and SW.

LOTR:ROTK without question.
I have no desire to see Ep3, and Matrix Revolutions I will see eventually, but ROTK I have been anticipating for almost 2 years now. It's the best book in the trilogy and I cannot wait to see it up on screen finally. Only 6 more months!

yea... good point I personally am looking forward to Matrix... because I don't have any idea (cept for the obvious ones) what is gonna happen. With Return of the King... I have read the book so I know exactly what happens. With Star Wars I know how it ends... because I have seen Episode 4-6 back when they were just called (Star Wars etc.) but in terms of which one I really want to see... Return of the King is at the top of my list just because they have done such an amazing job on the other two... that I know that the third is gonna kick @55!

Anxiously waiting to see how Star Wars get tied together, but like Lono said, we pretty much know what's going to happen.
Matrix Reloaded was a huge disappointment. At this point I don't even care what happens with Revolutions.
Voted for LOTR. I never really had any interest in the book series, but this movie trilogy is pure gold for how an epic fantasy should be done. (and no, I really don't know how it ends, and I don't want to know until I'm leaving the theater)

Didn't liked FOTR at all. Loved TTT. Liked The Matrix, absolutely despised Reloaded. Got some enjoyment out of the flawed TPM. Loved AOTC. Episode III and ROTK. Revolutions can bite me.
Lucas' legacy is already set. He created Star Wars and Indiana Jones, two of the greatest, most successful trilogies of all time. He created and founded ILM and Skywalker Sound, the two best and most successful companies of their kind in the industry. He created and directed THX1138 and American Graffiti. Lucas has had a major impact on film and the film industry, and not just from his films. He's paved the way and pushed the boundaries for FX, sound, and digital filmmaking. His legacy is already set. His impact has been huge, even before the prequels were made. Not to mention by the time the DVDs are done this man will be worth 5 billion dollars. So he doesn't care what some schmoes on a message board thinks. If I had a 3 billion dollars, I wouldn't give a rat's ass about someone on a message board who knows nothing about filmmaking either. He's making the films he wants. You don't like it, as they say, take a *****ing hike. Nobody is forcing anything on you.

has to be Episode III for me. been a fan of Star Wars for too long, and regardless of how disappointing Episode 1 was (II was pretty good), I'll still be there for the midnight opening show.

ROTK for sure.
Followed by Revolutions.
I might see SW 3 on dvd if it is any good. I doubt I will waste my money again on a SW movie unless it gets great reviews.

I'm looking forward to ROTK because it will be over and all the hero worship of Peter Jackson might be over and we can get on with our lives. Until he makes the Hobbit.

Wow... and I thought this thread was dead...
Actually from what I have heard... his next film is gonna be King Kong... and maybe a little zombie film (his personal fav) just to keep his chops up...
