What's the best modern day mob movie? (1980-current)

What do you think the best modern day (1980-current) mob movie(s) is/are? I'm a big fan of the Godfather, Goodfellas, Scarface movies and am wondering which modern ones I'm missing out on.

For me, Scarface is my favorite modern one, followed closely by Goodfellas.

Well, maybe the thread should have been titled "What are some good modern day mob movies?" because most of us are just going to say Goodfellas is the best and that's it. That wouldn't help you find the ones you may be missing out on:

Once Upon a Time in America
Miller's Crossing
Road to Perdition
The Untouchables
Donnie Brasco

Now, if you want movies about the modern-day mob, I'm sure you've heard of Quentin Tarantino.

Road to Perdition was great, definitely gonna pick up that one.

And for the love of God, we need a Goodfellas SE pronto. But that's been discussed here many-a-time.

The best is Miller's Crossing - by far.

Goodfellas is a good movie, but vastly over-rated IMO.

Goodfellas is the best, in my opinion.

Liked Road to Perdition a lot, too. And Casino's good.

And if you can count Midnight Run as a mob movie, that'd be #1. But it's a bounty hunter film, buddy comedy, or action/comedy first, for sure.

That Scorsese movie with Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro, and Joe Pesci.

I would have to agree that Goodfellas would have to be one of the best modern mobster movies, but you might want to check out Gotti. I thought it was pretty good for a made for HBO movie.

Goodfellas can't even hold a candle to Once Upon A Time In America.

I'd go with Goodfellas but am going to check out Miller's Crossing since it was mentioned here and today it was the top recommendation for me on netflix (after rating lots of movies it's scary how they have good picks for you, a week or two ago I watched Taxi Driver for first time ever on HBO, I really enjoed it, and the next day it was a top recommendation on netflix)

Goodfellas
Miller's Crossing
Once Upon a Time in America

It's definitely one of the above movies, but my answer would probably differ quite a bit from one month to the next.

Oh, come on, like you provided any more insight than he did...

That said, Goodfellas and Once Upon a Time in America are probably my two favorite modern mob movies. Unless you consider Pulp Fiction a mob movie, then I change my answer...
