The Eye....?

Anyone heard anything about this? I just got some tickets for a sneak preview tonight in Chicago, but I haven't heard anything about it. It seems to be a Ringu "type" of movie.

Basic premise:
someone has a cornea transplant, and now can see ghosts. Some of these ghosts are downright unfriendly.

Anyone?

IMO the first half was very creepy. The second half was decent but went downhill. Overall I liked it though. Tom Cruise's company bought the rights to this so expect an American remake soon.

This is a very well-made little horror film - and the lead's acting is simply amazing. I got this on a DVD from HK several months ago, and was pleasantly surprised to see it getting a theatrical release here. It opened in NYC two weeks ago, at only 2 theaters, but last weekend added a 3rd location.

It's supposed to be pretty good - I heard there was only English subtitles so that could be annoying.

Personally I like it, considering I'm quite an anti-horror. Angelica Lee made her appearance worth to see.
