breasts removed from Knick Knack short before finding nemo
I sure as hell hope disney restores them for the finding nemo dvd (or put two versions, one for us adults and one for the kids)

Disney Short Busted
Before re-releasing their 1989 short Knick Knack and attaching it to their release of Finding Nemo, Disney and Pixar virtually eliminated the breasts of two female characters, a mermaid and a plastic bunny, USA Today observed today (Wednesday). "In the original, the girls have breasts the size of large grapefruit," animation fan Raymond Tucker of Greensboro, N.C. told the newspaper. "In the new version, the breasts just aren't there." Animation historian Jerry Beck added: "These films need to be treated like classic films, not kids' fodder."

So the breasts are smaller...who the f cares? It still gets the point across.
I hate it when people make a big deal out of nothing.

Honestly, it surprised me that they did this, but it doesn't really bother me. Those people quoted in the USA Today article seem a little bit too enthusiastic about the cartoon bosoms. Though they did change them from like triple D to flat as a board. There might have been some happy medium to reach.
Nonetheless, the short is good, with or without massive mammaries.

The funny thing is, if you've seen the short, it's honestly better without the triple D boobs.. they look bad.. the exaggeration was probably part of the joke, but they're like the size of her head!

Funny how we all assume that Disney re-did the short, because Disney is the devil.
The original blurb says Disney and Pixar redid the short....and I'm pretty sure all the tech work was done at Pixar.

Yes, both of the gals got their boobs deflated for the revised short being played in front of Finding Nemo.

That's the big frickin' deal?
Wow, way to blow something out of proportion. Which, oddly enough, Pixar did in the 1989 version.
Hey, it's not that bad. Not censorship. Not black stereotypes being excised from Tom & Jerry. Not even Buzz threatening to throw Woody out of the window first. Give it a rest...
... also, the short appeared in its original form on the Pixar shorts compilation VHS, "Tiny Toy Stories", which appeared right after Toy Story.

Funny. I've never seen the short before, but while watching it before Nemo last weekend, the brief internal comment of "gee, those are pretty flat" passed my mind.
Now I don't feel quite so bad!
