Neo Stopping the Sentinels??
Ok, I am not sure if this is in any thread if is can you send a link.
So my question is how come Neo was able to stop those Sentinels outside the Matrix is he that powerful? or as is there a sencond Matrix that they did not know?

Well I guess I will just have to see ROTK since no one knows how that will end in December

Your
theory has been discussed here and is entirely possible.
However, I also considered this... Neo has chosen the "other" door for the first time since the current version of Matrix has been "reloaded". The question IS do either choice at that juncture give Neo access to part of the mainframe coding?
When Neo says, "wait there's something different" right before stopping the sentinels, I think he realizes he is still able to control certain parts of the mainframe simply because he visited the architect. This "control" could certainly be a programming loophole since the "anomally" that is Neo was always supposed to re-enter the mainframe and cause the system to reload. Obviously the anomally does not completely reset because THIS time the choice is different.
Just a stab at why. Nothing more to support how he does it in the film. I suspect when Neo is revived the Oracle will tell him why it happened if he himself cannot explain why he knew he could do it.

You hinted at one truth, I'm sure.
Many seem to feel the fight with Smith did something to Neo. I doubt it. The difference comes after meeting with the Architect. Don't know why, but I'm sure that's the source (pun intended) of Neo's new ability. Quite frankly, Neo drove Smith back out and stopped him from rewriting Neo's "programming". There is no lingering effect from that.

Before everyone thinks this matrix-in-matrix theory is a stupid one read this article.
Cinescape Article
I don't understand why this idea is seems to be so ridiculous. Now it looks like it could be a strong possibility. If anyone has access to the entire article please post some excerpts.
