Reporter fired for plagiarizing Ebert

reporter

Job opening..right here...

I'd like to know what movie it was. Gee, I'm going to plagiarize a review, so why not moviedom's most recognizable critic. No one will catch on...idiot.

Guy must have been lazy. Why steal descriptions from Ebert?

"I'll just crib this review from the most widely-read movie critic on the planet. Nobody will catch on!"

Maybe he wanted DVDtalkers to think he was losing his mind as well.

They might've caught on when Kinney wrote about Richard Roeper's cross-dressing.

Honk!

I do not see what the problem is, everything on the internet is free. We can take what we want, whenever we want.

He wouldn't have gotten if he hadn't have slagged "Blue Velvet."

Dead giveaway...

I wonder if he actually saw the movies. After reading some reviews, I wonder if the actual reviewers saw the same movie that I did...

Sometimes I wonder that about Ebert himself. A lot of his reviews have one or two errors, nothing too big, but still errors about a character or a scene that shouldn't really have been made unless one wasn't even paying attention.

Honk!
