Yeah, he juggles many projects and procrastinates in between them, but once he gets into production, he gets his films done on time and under budget.

Myers will play British Gen. Ed Fenech, a military mastermind who takes part in hatching a plot to wipe out Nazi leaders. Brad Pitt recently committed to star in the film, along with Eli Roth, and Tarantino is also courting Simon Pegg, Nastassja Kinski, David Krumholtz and B.J. Novak. |
Mike Myers? Really? Wow, so far the casting on this film has been less than impressive. Aside from Pitt, and possibly Pegg, there isn't anyone in this film that I think should be in it. Most of all Roth and Myers.

I wonder if the phrase 'groovy, baby' will make an appearance.

Tarantino casts his movies better than just about any other director out there, so I'll give him benefit of the doubt here. On paper it sounds doable though I'm still a little apprehensive.
|
Just a heads up - this:
http://www.aintitcool.com/node/37934 says that Mike Meyers will only be in one scene, so it seems that he's more of a cameo. |

Before Pulp Fiction was screened I guarantee people were cringing at the idea of Travolta being in it. |

"The Peggster" is out.
|
IB's ensemble cast gets interesting by the day.
|
I don't remember Mike Myers' character in the script. I'm not too worried about the casting. Tarantino can usually bring out the best in actors. I never would've thought Lucy Liu or Vivica Fox could play cool characters.
I guess Leo DiCaprio is out of this one? I'm really wondering who he has in mind for the lead girl. |
^I thought thats who Natassia Kinski is going to play (the lead girl).
ALso i saw this and thought it was quite enjoyable.... Tarantino's most outspoken clips: http://www.screenjunkies.com/general...antino-moments |

As of now, this stands as either the most insane casts ever assembled or the most ingenious.
I haven't decided which yet. I'm hoping for the latter, especially since it's Tarantino. |
Adam Goldberg better be in this movie.
|
IIRC, Myers' character is the one who hands out orders to the British spy in the same scene where
Spoiler:
When I first saw his name, I feared that he might actually play Winnie. |
Kinski is out. From Variety:
"Inglorious Bastards" writer-director Quentin Tarantino has set thesps Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz and Paul Rust in the Weinstein Co./Universal drama. Pic begins production Oct. 13 in Germany. The trio join Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Mike Myers, Michael Fassbender, B.J. Novak and Samm Levine. Kruger ("National Treasure") plays German actress Bridget Von Hammersmark, who figures prominently in a plot to sabotage the Nazis. It is a role for which Nastassja Kinski was first mentioned. Waltz, who is best known in Germany for his television work, has landed the role of Col. Hans Landa, who is the primary antagonist in the drama. |
hmmm...This certainly isnt having the star-studded cast I think everyone was hoping for.
Still I have faith in Tarantino. |
That's disappointing about Kinski. Could've used a career-revival. Diane Kruger isn't the worst pick though.
|
Umm........ Ryan from The Office?? That's fucking AWESOME.
|
The big question is who's going to be playing Shoshonna.
