God, I want to see this...

<object width="450" height="253"><param name="movie" value="http://www.traileraddict.com/emd/8753"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.traileraddict.com/emd/8753" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" wmode="transparent" width="450" height="253" allowFullScreen="true"></embed></object>

Now based on those of you who read the script, myself included. Out of all his scripts which is the best? Cuz I'm ecstatic about this one.

I want me my scalps!!

God this movie is either going to be stupid brilliant a la Grindhouse or the worst film of the year. Pure toss-up at this point.

Solid Snake 02-10-09 02:27 PM

Re: Inglorious Bastards - Tarantino's Next Project!

Stupid Brilliant still garnered Grindhouse great reviews, though it got a shitty box office. I'm pretty sure this will bank for Tarantino, cuz it looks great and...well it has Brad Pitt..people love them some Brad Pitt.

grrr 02-10-09 05:36 PM

Re: Inglorious Bastards - Tarantino's Next Project!

Pitt's delivery and accent are ugh-worthy. That part should've gone to Willis.

At least he's not in that much of the movie.

True Romance is my favorite Tarantino penned screenplay.

Why does ET even bother showing trailer premieres when they talk over half of them and cut the shit out of them? Seriously, it's been bugging me for years.

I love Tarantino, including Death Proof for the most part, but the little snippet they showed just looks BAD. Hopefully it's an isolated segment of lameness.

Seriously? We literally saw like 15 seconds of the movie. Enough to decide it's "bad"?

Watched the Entertainment Tonight trailer.

Looks like they're really pushing the Brad Pitt/"Basterds" angle here, when that's only a part of the overall movie.

I can see word-of-mouth killing this film if people are going into it expecting a big, loud Tarantino-on-crack making a big action war flick. A lot of people will probably freak out when
Spoiler:
it turns into a Frech New Wave film about a girl running a movie house in Paris. And, let's not forget the ending which comes waaay out of left field.

bootleg of the trailer. You might have to amp up your speakers though...weak sound.
Also...looks like Roth kinda pumped up there...

Must...see...whole...trailer...anticipation...killing me...

Spoiler:
In fact, I see this getting VERY well received. The script seemed closer to Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction in terms of sheer brutality and ambition.

Welcome to DVDTalk, where we can decide how good or bad a movie based only on the MPAA rating and the runtime!

very true....it's the amount of passion for the project that gets me all excited. You can tell it just by the script. It makes all happy inside.

The direct-feed ET snippet is up: http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer...rds/et-trailer (I think the embedding is disabled).

Still not the full trailer, but it's better quality than before.

The soldiers look kinda old... but I guess they always do in war movies. I'm still there day one.

Looks kind of campy. I'm not sure yet whether that's good or bad. Either way, I'm seeing it. Can't believe this movie's coming out after years of talk.

The love the new teaser. Great. Not showing too much. Just enough. The Hitler part is kinda silly but I trust Tarantino will make a great epic.

The Hitler part is what worries me the most. That part feels like it belongs in a "Springtime for Hitler" movie.
