What should the title of Romero's fourth DEAD film be?

John Carpenter's possible involvement with George A. Romero's (fingers crossed) upcoming final part of his zombie saga was discussed in this thread. The title of the film is Land Of The Dead, at least tentatively. A lot of other titles have also been thrown around over the years, though, and not everybody is in total agreement over what the fourth film should be called. Here's your chance to vote for your preferred title. If it's not listed in the poll you can vote "other" and state the title in a reply.

For me, it depends on what the overall mood of the film is going to be. If Romero is spelling the end of the zombie epidemic with his fourth film, then titles like "Dusk Of..." or "Twilight Of..." could be appropriate. However, since I don't want the film to be overtly optimistic, I'm voting for the current official title, "Land Of The Dead". It doesn't strike me as being too fairy-tale-ish; in fact, it gives me the impression of an unsolvable disaster on a nationwide scale.

How about just... "The Living Dead" It's simple and sounds cool and it'll grab kids who have no idea who Romero is.

I don't think Dead End would be a good title for one of his films. Sounds like it would be a movie like Wrong Turn or something. Some of the others are good.

I like Twilight of the Dead.. keeps with the 'time of day' theme, Dusk would work as well. Of course, they could take that idea too far... Afternoon of the Dead?

I always liked Twilight of the Dead as that title has been mentioned for years.......For some reason Dusk of the Dead sounds silly to me....
....but now that I've heard it, Land of the Dead sounds the best to me.

Whatever the title ends up being, I definitely think it should be "_____ of the Dead".

i like George Romero's THE DEAD the best. but i would rahter the name continue with night,dawn.day.

but from what i recall when i started to read the script ages ago, it took place awhile after "night."

Dead Wars: Episode IV - No Hope

I haven't bothered to read the details of the upcoming movie, but how about:

Groundhog Day of the Dead (Where basically the same thing keeps happening over and over again. . .)

Wow, I kind of expected there to be more love for "Land Of The Dead"... I guess it needs the right kind of poster to convince people.

That sounds disturbingly interesting...

I voted Twilight of the Dead, Dusk also sounds do-able.

Land of the Dead has some sort of weird vibe to it that I like, but I can't imagine what it would be about.

I always thought Twilight or Dusk of the Dead would be the best title as it keeps with the current title themes. After rethinking it though, either of those titles kind of imply an end to the Dead, and I don't think that's the case. Land of the Dead or something similar is a good title, it's bleak and shows the situation is fairly hopeless (which it should be by this time in the story.)

Planet of the Dead sounds too 50's sci-fi.
