thank you, Bill and Ted is what i was looking for................watched it again last night and i thought the merovingian called them by name but he used the french words for "you two" soooooooooooo oh well

on imdb (as reliable as that is, granted) Cain and Abel are listed as David No and Malcolm Kennard, and there is a listing for Twin #1 and Twin #2, the rayment brothers.

Ok, let me put it this way...
At a convention they were there. someone asked what the characters names were and they answered:
"Sadly we didn't get names. we are just refered to as Twin 1 and Twin 2"
so if they really did have names.. the actors didn't know it themselves.

and on the note of cain and abel, with all the religious stuff going on, how come they didn't name the ghost twins cain and abel?

Anyone else on the 'living' idea. I think they survived. At the apex of the explosion it shows them turn into ghosts. Probably to heal what was damaged in the explosion.
