I watched this last night and had a question. What happened to Leo's girlfriend that he was going to marry. He told her to meet her at miami international airport, he see's her, but then we go to the next scene without finding out what happened to her? And who played her anyway?

I believe the girl is Amy Adams . As to what happened to her... I always believed that she just went on and found another man, had babies, etc., and always wondered about the lost love of her life... but I do not know for sure. Has anyone read the book?
