Yeah, I went to the showing yesterday. I was lucky enough to be able to sit on a couch while that whole hour and a half stand wait in line occured.

I really should have thought twice about wearing a punisher shirt. It looks like it's the latest key to pointing out nerds as atleast 3 others had variations of the promo white skull on black shirt went. Not to mention two other versions being sold at hot topic. Remind me not to wear that any time between now and apirl again. <_<

The 300 were out as of two days ago. If you just turned in a request now, you're out of luck. Sorry.

I saw Hellboy two weeks or so back at a test/advance screening at the bridge and del toro was there. Not many folks actually noticed him (he sorta fits in the crowd) Since I already met him before I went up to him and said hello which lead to small chit chat and what not. The guy is really cool to talk to.

Than yesterday there was an advance showing of it at city walk. he did the introduction to it again.

The 18'' is nice. Though I like the hornless version a bit more. Besides that the 8'' figures are nice and cheaper, but still the gun is very nice. :drool:

As for the banners. It wasn't adverstised much. Hell, I found it on another forum and the folks there were reacting like it was some trap. with comments like "I wouldn't trust them with my address" and "If it's to good to be true, then it's not" :confused: I'm not sure what they were thinking but it got little to no reaction. Other than that this is the only place I noticed it was posted in. So I have no idea.

saw jack there he was one of three people wearing a punisher t-shirt.:) lol. also did any one watch jimmy kimmel live last night Del Toro was one wear his suit of course. i've met him a few time real cool guy to talk to.last time i gave him a hand shake he almost pulled off my arm. he's got some grip! :)

Definitely saw a lot of Punisher shirts. I was wearing my Neon Genesis Evangelion shirt. I figured that would show my geek allegiance without being too "trendy," as it were.

Now, I know the audience was mostly comprised of people who were already fans, but the lady sitting next to me didn't know thing one about the movie. She knew Hellboy was a comic, but that was it. And she was laughing and gasping along with the rest of us. She really liked it. If she's in any way indicative of the regular American public, this thing will turn out to be a huge hit. I know I'm going to see it a few times in its run. Probably twice on opening weekend. I'll be alternating viewings of Hellboy and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, easily my two favorite current films out in theaters (or, in Hellboy's case, about to be out in theaters).

Yeah, it's a neat shirt. I ordered it off discountanimedvd.com, and I also ordered a long sleeve one, but apparently the manufacturer stopped making those. :(

It hit me not to wear it anymore when I walked through hot topic. 2 more punisher shirts fresh on the rack. :p
