How odd that it's being released Thursday.

More specs are here. There's also a Matrix section available through Samsung's main page.

Some of the sounds are neat and it'd be cool to have the Matrix animation on the phone, but I think the design is rather ugly.

Gak! What an ugly phone! I much prefer the slick modded Nokia from the first movie.

Its size looks to rival that of the XBox controller.

Man, do you see what these phones are going for on ebay now!?!?!

http://search.ebay.com/search/search...t&BasicSearch=

Apparently, Samsung sold out quick.

I think they originally retailed for $499 but are currently ebaying for $800+.

I wish I had the foresight to purchase a dozen of these when this thread was started.

Here's the 1st production model autographed:

Looks to ackward and big.

I recall how big the nokia 8110i was after the first matrix. Seemed like everyone wanted it so I don't see how samsung could NOT do something like this.. though this version looks a bit to extreme.

If being a loser means having enough money to spend $2,300 for a wireless phone, I have just one question:

Where do I get a pocket-protector?

i saw a few of these in bestbuy..... these things are the size of the old 1995 style flip phones. Won't even fit in a pocket.

my boss actually gave me one she got promotional and probably didn't know the full value of. It is pretty chunky. I'd love to ebay it and use the $ to buy a much nicer phone. I can't even use it unless I cancel my current service, pay a penalty fee and sign up for sprint pcs. would love to ebay it.... did i mention i love my job?

Are they even selling them anymore? I havent seen them anywhere in my area (Central NJ) and would really love to get one. I'm afraid that I have missed out on such an awesome toy!
