i think man-kind has been in power too long to give it up. we fear what is more advanced than us, why would we create it? then let it think on it's own and make it's own judgement? then we woldn't be the dominant species anymore

It may stem to reason from our point of view that the AI machines may think they're superior and attempt to squash our species but we don't know if that will be the case.
They don't have the emotions like we do and not likely they ever will

If we were to invent AI, what would be the ethical issues? I suppose there have been hundreds of movies and tv'series's that annilized this issue. If a machine had artificial intelegence would it be self aware? "I think therefore I am." Would it be murder to turn off a machine that could think? Format and restore? Or Salvery to let an AI enabled computer to work for us with out paying it? giving it time off? Yet would it need time off?
