"even cops dial 911"
that's funny, i'm a cop, and if we need our SWAT team (we call them SRT) they take 2 friggin' hours to show up. this movie is gonna be hilarious.

S.W.A.T. was one of my favorite tv shows growing up. I don't know what to think about the movie version. I might catch it at the discount theater or wait until it comes out on video.

I wasn't interested in this until Clark Johnson got the gig to direct. He directed the amazing pilot for "The Shield" and really helped define the style of that show. I have high hopes for the film with him at the helm.

Thanks for the info Mutley! I can't wait to get the box set. I used to pretend I was T.J. and turn my cap on backwards like he did when he was setting up a sniper shot. The things you do as kids.

Nah, this was a pretty popular show, as I recall. Season one contains 13 eps, so we still got 21 after that... yay! Whether the show went two or three seasons though, I have no clue.
And you're welcome Joe. I seriously was pretty shocked when I saw it myself. I'd been fantasizing (yes, I fantasize about dvds... you do too! Admit it!!
) about this show coming out on dvd, but thought, "nahhh, they'll never put it out." And here it is! Woo hoo!
