Moving to Movie Talk.

Actually, it was a girl who slapped two girls on the back and the movie is called One Crazy Summer with John Cusack, Demi Moore, the guy from Animal House, Curtis Armstrong ("Booger" from the Revenge of the Nerds movies), Bobcat Goldthwait (sp), a cameo by Rich Little, and...that's all I can think of offhand.
