wait until dark [spoilers]

I taped this off TV, but it cut out right at the end.

What happens after Arkin opens the fridge?

Thanks.

You know...you really s/d wait to see it for yourself; a description will not do it justice.

But, see, I don't want to rent a movie I've seen like 99% of. It wasn't particularly brilliant, either.

Okay, if you're sure you don't care about the SPOILERS, I've performed in the play twice myself (once as Roat) so I know the ending well!

After Roat opens the fridge, Suzy gives him the doll. He cuts the doll open and takes the drugs out of it. Suzy slips a kitchen knife up her sleeve without him noticing. Then he starts leading her to the bedroom to do unspeakable things to her. She stabs him and he goes down. Suzy tries to get out of the apartment, but can't because Roat chained the door. Roat suddenly leaps out at her (in what many viewers consider the classic shock of the film). Suzy retreats to the fridge while Roat drags himself across the floor towards her with his knife. Just as he reaches her, Suzy manages to pull out the fridge plug. There's a blackout and a scream. Shortly afterwards, the cops bust in with Sam and Gloria. They find Suzy alive and Roat dead from his stab wound. A neighbor rolls in a keg and they all sing the Ewok song and have a big party. All right, maybe not that last part.

I'm not that crazy about the movie either, Mordecai. I think it's a brilliant play, but it doesn't translate that well to the screen for me.
