War Impares Studio Promotions
This is what I've been saying all along. This is why so many Hollywood folks are anti-war, it's all about self interest. The war is killing foriegn distribution, hurting domestic distribution, and taking the spotlight off their huge egos.

With most television talk shows and newscasts being consumed by discussions of the war in Iraq, film studios are finding it difficult to arrange interviews with stars to promote their current movies, the New York Times observed today (Tuesday). Moreover, they have canceled red-carpet premieres and parties ostensibly "in consideration of world events" but actually, the Times also noted, because they're unlikely to attract coverage of them. There's an upside to all of this, the newspaper indicated. Canceling a big premiere party can save a studio up to $1 million.
