And they are
Should there be a time limit for acceptence speeches?
and
Should Steve Martin be refrained from making war related jokes?
I voted yes since I don't want to have the stars making 10 min speeches about why war is bad, I don't mind if they say "I'd like to dedicate this to the troops", but there should be like a 5 min time limit.
And I think Steve should be allowed to say what he wants.

the war is not as sensitive a matter as 9/11 it is something discussed heatedly. let him make his mark.
as for the speeches. they should give people a 20 second limit, tops.

He should not be allowed to say anything about the war. Americans should learn to shut up and support their president. Because speaking your mind is not patriotic. Because shutting up and doing what you're told is what America's all about. Because celebrities can't have opinions if I don't agree with them. Because if I say anything bad about the war I'm not supporting American troops and I'm as bad as the Vietcong. And if we don't like it we should move to Iraq -- I almost forgot that oh-so-American idea!

No war talk at all unless they have something nice to say about it.
They don't want to be like the Dixie Chicks, now do they?
i won't go into war talk, but let's have one of those pretty little celebs over in Iraq enclosed in a rape room.

nice = hope for troops, end that is near, etc.
They don't have to be pro war, I am not in any way saying that.
I wanted to clarify myself, because I know someone on this board would have something to say.
