Harvard Man (What did you guys think?)

I thought this movie could have been very cool. I think the camera work, and casting were its shortfalls.

Much cooler if Cindy's father had been like Roberd DeNiro, Al Pacino, maybe Andy Garcia. although it was a small role, it would have been cool to see one of them in it.

The leading male role, (the basketball player) somebody a little less of a dork than the guy who played it.

Jason Lee has fallen from being the cool actor (mallrats, chasingh amy, both Kevin Smith movies, highly recommended) to being in total crap (this and that date movie with Julia Styles) and don't get me started with my hatred for tom green.

Not to be a d*ck, but he is referring to Harvard Man, NOT Stealing Harvard

That's Stealing Harvard

I believe the original post is about Harvard Man with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Joey Lauren Adams and Adrian Grenier.

I thought it was an odd little movie. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 if I was in good mood. I still don't know quite where they were going with it, I never liked the main character and many things just seemed out of place in it- like the sex scandel/FBI subplot and Al Franken as himself for a couple examples.

There was definitely nudity in the "orgy" sequence and during a hallucination.

There's a review at http://dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=4985

Adrian Grenier has no acting skill which made this movie horrible.

Totally agree with this comment. If a half-decent actor had this guy's part, the movie may have been actually enjoyable. I only stuck it out with the movie for Gellar and Stoltz. Also, this disc may have the worst transfer I have ever seen. Looked like someone turned on the red filter full blast and then never took a look at the finished disc.

If you have to find something to rent to use a coupon at the video store, or they are running a three for special, and you just need one more title, this is a pretty nice title to take home and watch once. It's ok, but nothing I'd make a special trip to rent, and certainly not something I would want to own.

Not from what I remember. It was a chore to get through it completely.

It's another reason why James Toback shouldn't be allowed to make movies.
