While I doubt Dreamcatcher will rake in the dollars, or any other film coming out for that matter, do you think we might see some stuidos doing last minute scrambling to changed their date by a week or so?

Also, I think there will be many walkouts at Dreamcatcher, since the Matrix animatrix thing is right before Dreamcatcher.

Say how long is that. I'm planning on seeing Dreamcatcher but i don't want to see that Animatrix junk.

Next weeks BO numbers will be down regardless, its Oscar weekend. Not too many films can break hard on Oscar weekend.

And a war will have some impact, I think. Good or bad, I'm not sure, some people may just be tired of 24 hour war news and may seek out movies.

Actually, Liar Liar with Jim Carrey grossed $39 million on Oscar weekend back in 1997. He even made a joke about it at the ceremony.

I imagine alot of people are going to be glued to their televisions for the first few days watching the war coverage. So the weekend gross will probably be off quite a bit.
