Umm I take it the bunch of you have not read Batman:Year One.

It's been pretty much agreed upon that in Year One Selina Kyle comes off as looking black because of the too dark coloring used in the book(one of its few flaws). The fact that Selina Kyle was white in every appearance after seems to lend credence to the fact.

But I still think Halle could be pretty good.

Umm so that means Bruce Wayne is black, Commissoner Gordon is black, Alfred is black. The little hooker in training is black,..etc There is a huge difference between looking black and being black. Catwoman was potrayed as a black woman in Batman Year One, but what do I know because in shadow I look like a black man right?

Don't forget that in the 1st Batman HARVEY DENT(the future Two-Face) was played by Billy Dee Williams.

and Harvy Dent was protayed by none other then Lando himself, Billy Dee Williams in the first batman movie. does this mean that if their is a future two face movie that Micheal Clark Dunkin should play him? the same arguement could have been made, and was made for Kingpin.

I don't know if Jack said it first, but I could totally see Nicole Kidman playing a wicked Catwoman. There is just something about her eyes that makes me think she was just born to play this role.

Except I can’t see Kidmann taking a role like this in a tired franchise—she’s too smart and doesn’t need the cash. I could easily picture Sarah Clark, Carrie-Anne Moss, Emmanuelle Seigner, or possibly even Bridget Moynahan or Natascha McElhone in the role.

But it'd be weird to see Nicole Kidman as Catwoman after already playing Dr. Chase Meridian in the Val Kilmer Batman flick.

Gimme a break.

Halle is far more interesting than that stupid JULIA ROBERTS. Yet Whorllywood still roles that lameass out every few movies.

ughh....Halle Berry as catwomen. She really is a stuck up B----. I would much like Nicole as catwoman mmmmm.....

I know I am in the minority around here, but I like Julia Roberts. She has had her share of stinkers, but so has everybody else. I like Halle Berry, but she doesn't need to be in another action/comic book film as of right now, imo. She's too much of an "it" girl right now and her head is just getting too big for her shoulders (I know you can compare her to Julia, so don't waste your time).

audrey - now that you mention it, I could see Carrie Anne-Moss or Bridget Moynihan taking on the role. Particular the later - she is younger and isn't already know for an established action/sci-fi franchise.

But that's how Hollywood works....


How do YOU know? Do you hang with her during her downtime? Have you personally talked with her? Many actors are/were c.u.n.t.s. during their day and it didn't take from their popularity...

I agree with the author. I hate politics and politics with a movie poster just seems ridiculous. why can't posters just relate to the plot of the movie anymore? It's a freakin' poster for cryin out loud. just make it look cool and make me want to see the movie.

3po and r2 are not principal characters. they should have been in the poster but the equivalent x2 poster would be if they had a giant head of threepio and luke and everyone else was just in their shadow.
