Danny Glover in the rainmaker.
Emma Thomspon in My Father The Hero <---- The only reason to see that movie was the cameo. It was very cool at the time.

David Letterman in Cabin Boy and Beavis and Butthead. Love his credit name, Earl Hofert(character's name in B&B), as well.

The saddest was probably Peter Fonda in The Cannonball Run, totally mocking his career making performance.
I don't know about the best, but one of my favorites was John McEnroe in Mr. Deeds, it cracks me up everytime and is probably closer to fact than fiction.

Steve Buchemi as -
1) The Drunk in "The Wedding Singer"
2) The Bum in "Big Daddy"
3) The Psycho in "Billy Madison"
Guess Buchemi and Adam Sandler have "a relationship."

I 2nd many above.
But I also like Michael Douglas in Hot Shots! Part Redux. Douglas is on one boat, and Charlie on another, when they pass they both yell "You were great in 'Wall Street'!" .. ha.

Bob Saget in Half Baked was freakin FUNNY as hell, I almost fell over laughing. Kevin Smith in DareDevil I really liked, and also Stan Lee in DareDevil was a pleasent suprise.
