I think perhaps he's sarcastically trying to point out that he thinks the graphics look sh*tty.

Hey, wait. I have a totally original idea. Let's have some people say it looks great, some people say it looks really pretty awful, and that way we can argue about the CGI just like in every other Hulk thread!

Ready? Go!

, Corvin.

The third pic ain't too impressive, but the other three are better than what I have been seeing. I really do wish that the studio would keep Hulk in shadow until the release of the actualy film so everyone couldn't pre-judge it. The jury will have to remain out with me on this one until I have seen it in the theater and see how well everything clicks.

Meh...didn't do much for me. You need someone other than the film's screenwriter to shill your movie if you want some credibility IMO.

That third pic does look pretty bad, but the others are alright...

Ugh...James Schamus also happens to be the PRODUCER of the film, as well as the co-president of Focus Features (the studio that releases The Pianist, Far From Heaven, etc.).

He's co-written films for Ang Lee since Pushing Hands (which means this includes Crouching Tiger, The Ice Storm, the Wedding Banquet, etc.)

The third picture is taken from the same scene as the second picture. I'm wondering if it's a shot of the Hulk before final lighting and shadowing is done to him. He looks much better in the second picture.

You can almost see the little Hulkster in that last picture.

Yeah, and you're smoking crack.
Dude, I'm not smoking crack. I call it how I see it. And I'm not the only one who thinks he looks like Shrek on Steroids. Alot of my friends think the same thing. And after the trailer showed I did here some snickering...so I'm not the only one who thinks that.

I don't see how there's any resemblence to Shrek except for the fact that he's green. Antennas, large nose, round faced ogre vs. a very humanoid creature. I mean come on, you can say it looks fake but does it seriously look ANYTHING like Shrek? Not a chance.

In my humble opinion I must say he does resemble Shrek. And I'm not the only person that thinks he does. Like I said, other's have said he does as well. Remember that is only an opinion. I'm still seeing the movie, but I'm just saying that the effects are on par with Spider-Man.

When I read the title of the thread I thought that was a cheap shot right there.

The best way for the producers to save face on this movie's c.g.i. is to market it ala Scooby-Doo or Roger Rabbit movie.
That "yes" we made The Hulk look like a cartoon on purpose.

Yeah, thanks for the putting up the pics. You have confirmed it for me. They look like brothers except one is buffed up and one let himself go. Haha. Oh and one has hair...lol. But they do resemble each other, so they are brothers. :-)

I think the pics look awesome, especially the first two animated ones. I'm usually anti-c.g.i. for characters in movie but this looks like it may be something special and somewhat realistic.
