Since everyone's drawing comparisons to Crouching Tiger, I have to say that I enjoyed CTHD more than Hero. Plotwise they both weren't very spectacular, but CTHD had a subtle beauty and grace about it, in the way it was shot and edited. It didn't try to cram its visuals down your throat.
