I thought this film was supposed to be released on 12/6, but I haven't seen anything advertising it. Has anyone actually seen it?

Miramax is only releasing it on 300 screens

so it'll be out there but not in very many theatres

Have i been sleeping, How could i have missed someting like this. This movie looks way cool. I wonder why they would not be backing this more, Christial Bale, Taye Diggs, Its not as if it looks low budget. I hope it will be playing around my place.

I've heard some interesting stuff about this, like it's a low budget matrix.

That really doesn't interest me, but I have heard in terms of gun action it is one of the better films made in recent years.

The 2nd part of what you said is 100% true. I was lucky enough to get in on a screening last month, and I was whooping and rocking back and forth in my seat out of sheer joy from the creativity of the action scenes in this movie.

As for the Matrix comparison, well, does anyone mention a futuristic sci-fi flick without making a Matrix comparison these days?

The plot is most like Fahrenheit 451. I suppose the fact that there are combatants in black firing guns is similar to The Matrix, though. : )

Whatever the case, it rocks. Check it out if you can.
