So, it just sneaks past HP if those estimates are correct. Bond definitely performed better than I thought it would (I was thinking closer to $30). Which means they'll keep on making them (as if they would stop).
Nice to see that The Santa Clause 2 has legs, which 8 Mile apparently doesn't.

Or maybe because it is only showing in 809 theaters, compared to the 3,000+ for Bond and Potter. Looking at the per-theater average, it may not be setting the world on fire, but $5100 doesn't exactly suck, either.

A bit suprising to me about Bond. None of the Brosnan movies have done poorly (all over one hundred million), but none really excelled either. Consider most big movies clear $100 million, their totals are eye-popping. I guess this will fall off fairly quick like some other big releases recently (Red dragon), but still do decent (and very well with worldwide totals)
