Everyone needs to see To End All Wars

I saw this movie about a month ago at a local film festival. Today I saw it is playing at one of the theatres around here (kerasotes). I'm not sure if it is getting officially released now or what...but once it does, you all should see it! I think it's one of the best films to come out this year. Great acting, and a really good story. I don't like war movies, but I wouldn't really consider it a war movie, they just happen to be in a POW camp during the war. Anyway, go see it! It's great....

Jason.

Who's in it? Who directed it? What country is it from? What war does it take place during? Does it say anything original or is it just a retread of Grand Illusion?

Check out that thread...it's a good site with info about who the director is. Keifer Sutherland is the name they are pushing, but he's not the main actor. This film is very moving and an excellent one at that. Too bad it is getting poor promotion as I haven't seen any trailers or tv spots. Not even a review in the paper. It just popped up in Kerasotes theatres. Anyway, I'll be seeing it again shortly! Go see it now!

You must have gone to the Heartland Film Festival. I did not make it, but this is the one movie a friend of mine who went praised and said is a must see. Which Kerasote is it playing at?

yeah I saw it at the heartland film festival. I saw three full-feature length films there, and this was definitely my favorite! it won grand prize at the festival. Check it out! I really am pissed it is getting no promotion what-so-ever and probably will be missed by a lot.
