his debut feature, Behind Enemy Lines, was not a critical story wise, but imho, it was visually great, a true heir to the throne of the great Michael Bay.
Supposedly going to direct the Chuck Yeager story, awhile back, we'll see what this guy is up to.
First came to fame when he directed the Sega Dreamcast commercial Thief, which, in my opinion is one of the greatest TV commercials ever.

I don't think that he has the talent of Michael Bay. Forgetting about Pearl Harbor, and forgiving for half of Armageddon, Bay has made some really cool action films (Bad Boys and The Rock).
With Behind Enemy Lines, there was a whole lot of action going on on-screen, but it didn't really capture me as being fun or exciting like Bay's films.
By the way, what is Michael Bay up to? I hope he comes back with a fun action movie sometime soon.
