I didn't and don't plan to. With all the marketing behind I-Spy I'm surprised it did so bad.

Not Surprised that The Santa Clause 2 is #1 although I still think its way to early for a X-Mas movie.

The Ring is doing well for itself

I take a little bit of pleasure in knowing that a film that's been running Cock joke ads for a month now is not going to open #1. Looks like Eddie Murphy is going for the Hat Trick this year.

Eddie Murphy really needs to get back to standup and put out an "R" concert movie like "Raw" or "Delirious" again... Enough of this subpar action and family movies nonsense...

I Spy was a OK for a matinee. Although I should of waited for it on DVD. As for the "The Santa Clause 2" has anyone thought it might be #1 with it 's free tickets in "The Santa Clause" which Disney just re-released this last week on DVD?

Well I seriously doubt that it got an additional $10 million from the Special Edition DVDs. For one, I don't think those were exactly flying off shelves, and how many people who bought it actually went to the movie this weekend?

Sure it helped, but I think the movie would have easily been #1 even without the DVD.

Another example of Hollywood taking a good TV show and runining it.
No, I havent seen it and dont plan too but the Commercials just look like Crap.

On Yahoo Movie news it says this will probably be Murphys Second Bomb this year.

My question is, why is he making such Trash?

Ring is still doing good numbers because of word of Mouth and so is Greek Wedding.

I was also reading that Punch Drunk Love is not doing that great. My theory is and I posted a topic on this, is that Sandler is hurting it. I Love Paul Thomas Anderson but I am holding off on seeing the film because I cant stand Sandler.

Get ready for Two Towers and Harry Potter!!!

I thought Santa Clause 2 was good as far as sequels go. I also think releasing early was smart considsering The Two Towers and Harry Potter coming later in the season.

I saw I SPY this weekend... it was OK. I thought it started out terrible, just awful jokes that were falling totally flat... there was dead-silence in the audience. After 15 minutes I wanted to get up and walk out, it was THAT BAD. But it started to pick up and there were some damn_funny scenes toward the end so it wasn't a total waste. It might be worth a matinee viewing... it's not a total flop, IMO. I'm glad they didn't show the funnier scenes in the commercials because that would have totally ruined it for me.

Actually, Jackass only fell about 40% in it's second week which was a lot less than expected.

I actually thought I Spy was pretty damn funny!

You wanted to get up and walk out after the first 15 minutes... this is not worth a viewing in my opinion. I cannot wait till towards the end of a film for a few damn funny scenes.

I Spy with my little eye, a movie I cannot see.
