Anyway, Candyman is an okay movie in my book. I watched it by myself at night and it freaked me out. Didn't do much for me the second time around, however.

I think the CANDYMAN movies are awesome (1 & 2 at least...3 was terrible)... if you want to see a great, fresh horror flick, the first movie is perfect, and if you just want lots of mindless carange, Candyman 2: Farewell to the Flesh is perfect.
I would avoid part 3 like the plauge... I'd love to be able to get my hands on the rights on Candyman...I'd love to direct Candyman 4.

I wonder what happened to ther carreer
Virginia Madsen starred in Candyman, the next DVD I seen her in was a very small part in "The Haunting". Played the sister with the smart ass kid, of the gal who co-starred in the 1999 remake of Shirley Jacksons "Haunting of Hill House".

I rank the Candyman series right up there with the Darkman series... the originals were pretty good, but the more sequels they made, the lamer they got...
