I didn't think it was all that great. It did remind me of Event Horizon, but wasn't nearly as good. It also reminded me of Virus and that one with Treat Williams. Anyway - I just didn't like the silly ending and twist. I thought it was stupid. I liked House on Haunted Hill alot, but they ruined it at the end with the Rorschach monster... I thought 13 ghosts was weak and the ending especially was mucked up. This seems to be a trend for this company. If they're going to revive classic tales, they should update the cheeseball endings or something.

I just saw this at the dollar theatre, and WOW was it bad. I usually don't laugh during bad movies, no matter how bad they are, but I couldn't help myself during this stinker. Even the opening which everyone is lauding so much, had me cracking up a very good deal. Now I can forgive the weak plot in a horror movie, if it actually managed to scare me. Afterwards I realized that there was nothing scary about the movie. The atmosphere wasn't scary, the "jump scenes" were predictable, the little girl WAS scary... in 1980 when she appeared in "The Shining," with her twin sister... nothing scared me.

All in all, the $2 I paid was worth it just for how much I was able to laugh.
