Dont know if this has been mentioned, but a while back when Die Hard with a Vengence was on tv motherf***** was replaced with melon farmer.
Yeah, I actually posted this one earlier but I thought he said "mother farmer". This make so much more sense.

How bout this
"When aired on Comedy Central, almost every line said by Jay is altered. There is no mention of the **** Demon and the word "****" is either changed or completely taken out." Now imagine "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" on tv.

I watched parts of Dumb and Dumber a couple of weeks ago. They totally removed the diarreah scene! I don't think they showed Harry on the toilet at all. They also did not show the "penis and testicles" on the snowman. We had no idea what Harry did with carrot and coal or why they were laughing. Bah!

I couldn't agree more, Pulp Fiction translates pretty horribly onto TV, they cut out the entire "basement" scene, and replaced MF with mother hubbard a couple times I thought that was pretty funny

Thelma & Louise -- instead of "Suck my cock" it was "Clean my clock."

My brother and I always reference this line when we see a movie on TV. That was so 'falconing' hilarious.

There was a terrible edit in "Office Space" on Comedy Central, at the begining of the movie. When Michael Bolton is in his car and he's stuck in traffic, he's listening to the rap music, but when the black guy walks by, it shows him turning down the music, but on Comedy Central, the volume isn't lowered... weird censors.

In Good Will Hunting, the joke that Mini Driver told is completely different in the TV version vs the theatrical release.... It is kinda stupid since I never understand what the hell she was saying anyway

According to the IMDB Bruce Willis actually wore an "I Hate Everyone" sign and they replaced it in post

The Racists Melon Farmer edit from that movie is one of my favorites

The Matrix on tv was laughable. In the interigation scene where Keanu says "How about I give you the finger and you give me my one phone call" they change it to "How about I give you the flipper" and then cut the rest of the line
quiet silly

my favorite is Silence of the Lambs. In the famous penis between the leg scene where Buffalo Bill says "I'd fu** me, I'd fu** me hard". In the tv scene he says "Id marry me i'd marry me hard".
And the Parental Advisory film on VHI was uncensored the first few times they showed it, along with the Bobby Knight film as well. I think Comedy Central did that with Porn and Chicken too. I also think they are airing South Park:Bigger longer and Uncut, uncut tonight(7/4) as well.

Basic Instinct's TV edited version was so godawful! Why even show it when you can easily rent it on videocassette or dvd?

Don't forget about Casino, when Joe Pesci tells DeNiro, "You jew money lover!" Actually it's more funny the way he says it. That Joe Pesci. Actually the whole movie is butchered to death when shown on tv.

I never understand why the line about sushi is edited

Claire: It's some rice and raw fish.
Bender: You won't accept a tongue in kiss on your mouth but you'll eat that?

Predator...

years ago the edit they had was a semi muting...like muffling out the words..so mid sentence, it would be quiet..and then continue.

When arnold says "you're one ugly motherFcuker", the edit did the following:

"You're one ugly *MUTE* Fcuker"

So they left in the F word but got rid of Mother

hehe

anybody who has seen road house on tv knows how badly butchered this movie is, lots of the punches and stuff are toned down in sound nature. I had forgotten how much violence, language,sex/nudity are in the movie since the tv version cuts out so much of it.

watched dumb and dumber for the umtimph time on tbs a few nights ago and it was completly uncut (with the exception of hte language), yep all the toilet humor, Lauren Holly in her glory (well sort of, mostly tbs cuts that scene as well). Its when it plays past 10 pm

and what do ya know, road house tonight at 7 pm on tbs.
