My order finally went through. I had to hit "place order" over and over, when suddenly I got an error screen. I was afraid that maybe I lost the order, too, b/c my basket was then empty...
At the same time, Yahoo crapped out so I couldn't check and see if I got an order confirm.
A couple of minutes later, though, all was resolved as I had, in fact, received a confirmation.
I'm glad I waited a day to snag those Dead Zone sets...
10 items, including 4 sets and a criterion - 158.85 after discount...
A sweet deal!

It goes up and down. Must depend on the volumn of traffic.
I would like to know how they are making money with this. They give a35 % off ususally. I f you add another 20%, that means they are giving at least 55% off. Most wholesalers give about that amount.

Well if the site ever works for me I might just have to pick up a few things. Too bad I ordered Quantum Leap yesterday, if it is still in stock I will just cancel that order though. I'll probably pick a few more shows and maybe the Scorsese (sp) boxset.

BTW, Did it ever occur to anyone that these codes were not intended to be active and the orders will be cancelled? After all (and correct me if I’m wrong), there was no USA Today ad and no official announcement from DVD Talk.

What is the deal with shipping and preorders? If I chose the $4.95 option, do I just pay $4.95 and they expedite ship every preorder?

I'll ask this again.

Since someone from here was kind enough to post the coupons at FatWallet you can expect DDD to be swamped.
