That's okay... It will be "hot" ( possibly melted) by the time it reaches Oklahoma. Originally posted by Seeker

Tell me about it, Pedagogue. I finally bought a digital camera last week for a few different reasons (insurance purposes among them), but I'd be a big liar if I said that these crayons didn't make me finally pull the trigger. Originally posted by pedagogue

The crayons are away. Everyone who received confirmation of their colour and supplied me with an address/username has a crayon in the mail.
Let us know when they start to arrive. Can anyone can take my little crayon guy at the head of the post and make him dance around? It would seem more appropriate and the guy who makes stuff dance is not here at this time.

Sweet.. Looking forward to seeing some pics.
I'll be posting a few pics of the crayon.
Just trying to think of some good locations. I'll have to get down to a 'Welcome to Michigan' sign. Of course, a pic with the HockeyTown sign is a must.
I definetly think there should be two categories of pics, actual and photoshopped.

If you can find the time to post on the thread, you can find the time to drop Preacher an e-mail and adopt yourself a crayon.Originally posted by bfrank

I'll get in on this. Hey QuAcKeR, and PhYbEr, I say once we all 3 get crayons, we do a before and after shot..........we'll tie them to the flame cannon

i dont think you'll pass the adoption application if you're already advocating killing them. btw, I can bring my guy by on the weekend and he can visit yalls crayons

I'm assuming that out of the 96 colors, there will be a few people who don't return pictures. Thus, there can be a backup list to send crayons from a second box (or they can pick up their own box, once they know what color they need).
By the way, do we want to set some type of deadline for getting pictures in? Say, three weeks or something?

We'll have to take our discussion of rationalism and/or objectivism to another thread. Don't want to step on Preacher's toes and sidetrack this great idea.

Well put. It was already discussed with one member a very good idea but it included the death of a crayon. It was decided that they all should live.Originally posted by Venusian

When this idea first started, I had a cool Plan A but, alas, it's too late. Senator Hillary Clinton was in town yesterday for a book signing and I was going to try to have her sign the book with "Hot Magenta". Or, at the very least, try to get her and the crayon in same picture.
On to Plan B!

My crayon will be living in Lebanon, Pennsylvania and going to Gettysburg sometime soon and Ireland in November.
