well.. they were going with the conspiracy that the person would have been tipped off
but if he was to bid.. we would probably recognize his account

and if you have 43 feedback.. your obviously not him, and thats not a bogus account

go ahead and bid.. but bid slow, we still have 6 days left guys!!!
and keep in mind.. the top three bidders at the end are going to split the ebay fees and send the money to preacher

Yeah, don't listen to me. I'm suspicious by nature.

Just considering whether this guy is in on this already and we are going to bid this up and if he already knows whats going on, kinda destroys the fun.

Bid away. But don't you dare post in the Mature Forum about anal probes.

You know...

We could send the crayons to the CDG.

No. These threads should stay apart. Who knows what can happen if these threads collide.

DO NOT CROSS THE STREAMS

View has just sent CDG and email from his new email account [email protected]. Within this email contains this text: "Never in the history of Ebay has there been such a deal and you, valued costumer, are one of the first to learn of this amazing deal. You are one link away from your AMAZING DEAL!"

...followed by the link to the crayon auction.

Let's sit back and see what happens.

View knows CDG has no credit card so I don't believe we have to worry about her bidding but this is just part one of this unprecedented merging of two top POWER HOUSE threads. Stay Tuned.

Can we possibly keep this on the topic that was intended?

Agreed, all matters revolving around CDG and the famed Ebay crayons shall be posted in the CDG thread to not clutter up the action here.

Allright... I'm currently the high bidder (moneyforbeer) on the crayons.

I just got the following email from someone:

Hello,
I've been collecting crayons for years. I personally have over 1000 different boxes and have over 2000 documented. This includes a 24 box of Color Bunch. I do not understand what makes this brand and/or box so special. I looked at the letter and did a search on both the ICCS and RandyC Enterprises and found nothing on either. No other crayon collector I know has any knowledge of this organization either. Is there a way to contact them? Do you know the story behind what makes these so special? Honestly, these just look like one of the dozens of generic/contract brands made. I'd like to know more.

Thanks,
Ed

Assuming this isn't one of you bastards screwing around , I'll let the more creative of you craft a response that I can send him.

Would it not ne ironic to actually create a real demand among the real crayon collectors. One can imagine that we could have done that.

You could always reply to him and tell him that they are almost all pointy. That is pretty damn special IMO.

The guy's name is Ed Welter. He works for Nike. And from what I've found on Google, he's an avid hiker.

He, of course, may be bluffing about the whole crayon collector thing and playing a joke of his own.

i shudder to think what would happen if one of these crayon collectors won the auction! If on the off chance one of them did, what are the chances of this little box of Color Bunch crayons making the Antique Roadshow circuit?
There's nothing like getting hate mail written in fuzzy wuzzy brown....
