Why don't you guys try c4component. the have clear cases & they have a double slim that is IMO better than the amaray.

Are people using the 2-disc cases for the VCDs they're burning?

Being that I'm pretty lousy at assembling covers of my own, I'll hold out till you have the time, or maybe someone else can take you up on your offer and post one before then. :)

Disc-Flipper, I use the "slim doubles" for most of the vcds i burn with my Terapin recorder, but i use the white AlphaPAK versions from inetdvd for my vcds and the black cases from c4 for my DVDs. I store my vcds in white cases and my DVDs in black cases.

slop101, A "slim double" is a case the size of a single amaray/alpha that holds 2 disc instead of 1 and really help save space for all of the 2-Disc SE that are being released (ID4, Snow White, Dogma, etc.)

Yes, slim-double amaray cases, like the ones used for Gladiator - that's what I was talking about - everyone's sold out of those. Are you talking about the same thing?

Oh, and the cases they have at C4 are the ones that hold discs on both sides - there's no room for a booklet. I need the ones that have a "page" flap in the middle for one of the discs.

slop, Actually the ones at c4 *DO* hold a bokelet it just goes on top of the disc stored on the left side. and if you have the 2-disc T2 the booklet will fit and let the case close securely. I personally don't like the double amaray's because of the stupid "flap" (it breaks to easily), but that is just my opinion.

This was my first attempt at a custom cover (well my first real attempt at something original). I havent seen a good memento SE cover, so I decided to make one. Here is a image of the cover. i could really use a Vista Series cover for Sixth Sense. it's too shiny to scan and i ebayed my original release of the film before i could scan its cover...so i have no elements to start off with.

has anyone cranked one our for themselves already that they can share?

Phrase, I asked Mr.Moody to work on one but i'm not sure he's had time to begin working on it yet.

I'm reminded of my efforts to design a keepcase-sized cover for Rock & Roll High School for its first release, the Lumivision version, which came in a jewel case. Practically the moment it was up at Mr. Moody's, New Concorde announced a full-on SE in a keepcase with the original art. I picked it up gladly, but kinda wished I had just waited and let things work themselves out.

Now that we're hearing Coppola's working on Outsiders:Redux (the man needs to stop hanging out with Lucas, methinks), you can expect a proper packaging of an SE in the near future.

Of course, if all you want is a cover for the theatrical release, best of luck.

I need to resize a small 72 dpi to a cover-size image. Anybody really good at this--I already tried w/ photoshop and it didn't come out well.

It wont work unless the dpi number is higher. You might try asking the board for a better picture.

Can someone scan the Criterion Covers for Hard Boiled & The Killer and send them to Matt so he can put them up on dvdcoverart. I bouhgt these at a Pawn shop ($10 for both) and they were only in a double cd jewel case.
