Yes, I was actually standing behind her. Earlier in the day I had composed the text of the post, then when I saw her sit down to her PC to do stuff, I brought my ThinkPad (with wireless LAN card) into the same room, sat down in a chair a few feet away.

I posted the text and then cut-n-pasted the URL for the thread into AIM and sent her an IM telling her to "look at this"....

From where I was sitting, I could see the screen of her PC and when I spotted that section of the post, I quietly stood up, took the ring out of my pocket, and was standing behind her.... the timing was perfect...the answer was perfect. :D

She waited to read the whole proposal before turning around.

Yes...I read the whole thing before I turned around....it took a while because I was teary-eyed! But I didn't want to miss a word.
