Thanks Cool Kitten, this is real...definitely real. The funny thing is that "trixie" was sitting at her PC and I was just a few feet away with my ThinkPad and wireless LAN card. I posted the proposal here and then I Instant Messenger'ed her with the link telling her "get a load of this guy!!" Definitely caught her by surprise.

As for strange...hmm, yeah... but then again as you can see our story up to this point has been pretty (wonderfully) strange... so why not? :D

trixie 05-30-02 09:11 PM

I don't think it's strange at all.

I think it's perfect.

Simply perfect!

Why too late? Many women still have kids in their 40's nowadays...

CharlesC 05-30-02 09:47 PM

WOW! Amazing!

Congratulations to you!

I guess Geoff has achieved his goal of creating an online community!

Now that would be cool --- DVDs for wedding presents.

People could get you things like "My Best Friend's Wedding" or "It's a Wonderful Life"

noseyneighbor 05-30-02 11:48 PM

Kids, kids, kids

I vote for 5 more!
and add a minivan to boot!
Oh, but then you would need a bigger house and I don't know if I could allow you all to move. Who would solve my computer problems?
