Can't believe this thread is two pages old and no-one has mentioned THE ABYSS yet. Ok, for the record this was my favorite year in history for Hollywood movies. Just look at what we had in the summer compared to what we have now
SUMMER 89 - LAST CRUSADE, ABYSS, FIELD OF DREAMS, DEAD POETS SOCIETY, BATMAN, LETHAL WEAPON 2, WHEN HARRY MET SALLY.
SUMMER 2001 - THE MUMMY RETURNS, PLANET OF THE APES, PEARL HARBOR, TOMB RAIDER.
Ah, those were the days. A top ten?
