Probably. If I were the D-Backs I'd be trying to see as many pitches as possible tonight and make Clemens work. If the Yanks don't pull too far out in front, they can get a big pitch count for Clemens. They don't have a great chance of winning (but they do have a chance), but they should try to get something out of it.

you know.. i hadnt really even thought about the idea that arizona could win this game tonight.. i think i have just been assuming that new york will win it..
i think new york probably will take it, but arizona still has the momentum

Based on hats, coats and assorted crap as I carved my way through NYC today, definitely the World Series.

If I wanted to insult the guy, I'd go into a full diatribe on how he thought the splintered bat was actually a ball. In which case, he should have been throwing the splintered bat to first base. And I would also go into his headhunting history.

Personally, I don't like the guy. And I want to see the Yankees lose. It's time for another team to buy the World Series Championship. -ptth-

oh yea.. one thing that has bothered me..

why is clemens the game 3 starter?? hasnt he been the yankee ace all season long.. so why hold him until game 3? dont like his chance against schilling or johnson?
sure, the lets him play in the first game in new york.. but that limits him to at most 2 appearances

He pinched his hammy and needs the extra rest.

(1) hamstring injury ... game 3 means more rest since last time out ...
(2) they don't want him to bat ... added pressure (aka he's a *****) ...
