How to express/contain the sadness, helplessness, anger and frustration at such a horrific event? This is terrorism at its worst. They have done exactly what they set out to do: destroy a symbolic target, kill and injure hundreds (if not thousands), frighten the American people, and effectively shut us down, even if only for a little while.

If this is indeed the work of a Palestinian group (who is claiming responsibility), this could decisively turn the tide of that struggle firmly against the Palestinians. The bastards wanted our attention, now they've got it. Destroy them.

Not just anyone can fly a 737. We have to assume that these terrorists know what they are doing and can fly these planes. I doubt any american pilot would do that under any circumstances.
