YesAsia Website

Has anyone else been having trouble with the YesAsia website? I receive an error message whenever I try to add a Blu-ray to my cart.

Re: YesAsia Website

I was bombarded with captchas, but had no problem adding items to the cart.

Confirm javascript is on and otherwise try a different browser.

coyoteblue: thanks for the reply. Yes, I was bombarded with captchas, also. I did try two different browsers, but had all the same issues. I don't know how to confirm javascript is on, but I'll find out.

You can also try clearing your browser cache and if all else fails try rebooting your pc or tablet; starting with a clean slate might make a difference.

I’ve had the same issue they’re constantly under attack. Just complete the CAPTCHA and you should be fine.

DVDguy89--I was able to finally log on when using Chrome as my browser, but whenever I tried to add something to my cart I got a message saying the page failed to load and that I should reload it, which I did to no avail.

Re: YesAsia Website

I run into the Captcha thing occasionally when I randomly call up the site and log in, and while it usually works on the first try, occasionally it just sticks me in a loop. However, the vast majority of the times I’ve ever accessed the site have been via links in one of their new-release email blasts. Without fail, doing that loads the captcha page where I only need to check the ‘human’ box and I’m logged in and can roam the site, use the cart, and check out without any issues. Everything works. Not saying this will work for everyone, but perhaps the site’s glitchiness disappears when it knows you’re there because of something it sent you in the first place. Just guessing, of course. If you’re already getting their emails, it might be worth trying that route, or signing up for them once you can stay logged in long enough.

Re: YesAsia Website

Brian T--thanks for your thoughts, but nothing is working on that website, either through Safari or Chrome. I tried signing up for emails and notices, but when I entered my email address to do so it then asked me to enter the code on the image...unfortunately, there was no image, just a question mark. This is so frustrating because I have bought literally dozens (plural) of DVDs and Blu-Rays from YesAsia and now this. If by chance anyone from YesAsia is reading this thread, please help me.

Re: YesAsia Website

This probably won’t work since you can access the site, but here’s the link for their ‘contact us’ page. Unfortunately they don’t provide an actual email address, only a form that will send an email to their customer service people.

https://www.yesasia.com/us/0-0-0-hti...-feedback.html

Failing that, I skimmed back through my history of YesAsia emails and found an address associated with some order issues I contacted them about a couple of years ago. They did respond to me via this address so you’ll likely hear from someone too. Might be a start.

Re: YesAsia Website

Brian T--thanks, once again, for these ideas. The first link did take me to a feedback page, but it required me to enter the code in the image, which, as before, wasn't there. I did send an email to the second link, so we'll see what happens.

Re: YesAsia Website

Brian T--I received a reply from "service" at YesAsia. Here's what is said:

Upon checking, our team did not identify any issue with the website. In the meantime, we recommend trying to browse the website using a different browser or device, preferably in Incognito Mode.

I did try again with Safari and Chrome in Incognito mode and continued to get either endless CAPTCHAs; after entering my email and password nothing happens; or "page failed to load" messages.

Re: YesAsia Website

All—YesAsia.com emailed me the following:

Greetings from YesAsia.com!

Our relevant team has reviewed the issue and the verification process has been disable. Please try again and let us know if it works now.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your feedback.

The disabling saved me one CAPTCHA, but I still can't add anything to my cart. When I try, here's the drop-down I get:

I reload the page, try to add the item to my cart again, and the "loading error" message appears again...and again...and...

I'm exhausted and will probably quit trying.
